Meeting customer challenges with innovative solutions

Founded in 1927, Grosfillex is a French industrial company that designs, manufactures and sells products for furnishing and remodelling of residential and professional indoor and outdoor space.

In February 2020, Grosfillex had to urgently import a 20 tons mold from its American subsidiary to its factory in Rhône-Alpes. The sanitary crisis has started to affect Europe and the capacity is limited. The reactivity and speed of OVRSEA's teams have seduced Grosfillex which entrusted them with this first key transport in order not to interrupt the production line and to maintain orders.

Project progress

The platform and the follow-up of the OVRSEA teams have lightened the workload of the Grosfillex logistics team by simplifying the information feedback and the follow-up of the goods. Indeed, the platform centralizes all the subjects relating to transport, from the request to the invoicing (estimate, forwarding, document, follow-up, reporting on the times and the costs of transport...), which makes it possible to save a considerable time to the Logistics team of Grosfillex.

Transport documents and reports can be downloaded directly from the platform, thus facilitating the work of not only the Logistics team, but also the Finance team.

Real-time tracking of goods is a very important feature for transport management and allows headquarters and subsidiaries to follow the progress of goods.

Employees at headquarters and at the subsidiary concerned are informed at the same time of the pickup and delivery, thus gaining visibility while drastically reducing email exchanges. The American and Brazilian subsidiaries have thus been able to gain autonomy and optimize their logistics management.

Today, OVRSEA handles both the delivery of spare parts and finished products for Grosfillex.

OVRSEA carries out 100% of the shipments between Grosfillex's parent company in Rhône-Alpes and its Brazilian subsidiary as well as 70% of the shipments to the American subsidiary.

OVRSEA's reactivity, the ease of use of its platform and the real time tracking of goods are the assets that convinced Grosfillex to continue entrusting its transport to OVRSEA.
