Lexibook has existed for 40 years now, we sell educational electronic toys for children. It is a very seasonal sector, our activity is concentrated on four months of the year from the beginning of July to the end of October.
We use two maritime forwarding agents for our transport and we have entrusted OVRSEA with 51% of the traffic, as well as all containers in LCL, FCL.
OVRSEA brought us digitalization, customized follow-up and simplified processes in the management of bookings, ship reservations and tracking. This has had a huge impact on traceability and direct access to quality information.
Ovrsea has recently implemented the management of transports pushed by our suppliers. I receive the booking requests on the platform in the form of transport requests to be validated. I then check all the information of the goods on the platform (type of container, availability date..). OVRSEA also proposes me several ships with different shipping companies, I validate the one that suits me best and OVRSEA can then set up everything with its agent.
The collaboration with OVRSEA goes very well, the teams are very responsive, the human side has not been erased by the platform. As soon as we have a problem, the teams provide us with the solution very quickly, everything goes smoothly thanks to their responsiveness. Everything is fluid, everything is easy and everything is well executed.
